99 Bermondsey Street, London
Continuing collaboration between 101 Architecture+Design and Deidra Hodgson, WatchHouse introduces a new coffee shop to Bermondsey.
The property stands on its own, a lone architectural implementation, with no joining properties in an otherwise green churchyard setting, located at the southern point of Bermondsey High street. This unique opportunity set the backdrop for WatchHouse’s namesake, derived from its original purpose dating back to the Georgian and Victorian period, the property acted as a freestanding WatchHouse for St Mary Magdalen’s Church graveyard.
